Gilmour-Hughson Building Below Grade Masonry Rehabilitation, Gatineau QC

Repointing of masonry joints and stone unit replacement on the interior face of the East elevation wall;
Construction of a new slab-on-grade concrete floor;
Addition of a steel post support for an existing wood beam;
Removal and disposal of decommissioned an interior fuel oil tank including base and concrete pad (if any) and of an exterior fuel oil tank (location to be discovered upon excavation of the perimeter)
Decommissioning of an exterior closed septic tank by cleaning and filling
Installation of new foundation draining piping and drainage board and connection of the foundation drainage network to a dry well to excavate and backfill;
Cutting and removal from site of existing trees and shrubs including stumps at the perimeter of the building on the area affected by excavation and backfill work.

A NON MANDATORY site visit will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:30am Ottawa time. The exact meeting place is at the Gilmour and Hughson building which is located in Jacques Cartier Park at 350 rue Laurier in Gatineau Qc. All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit. Please contact Marie-Andrée Bureau at (number on the official notice) to confirm your attendance at this NON MANDATORY site visit and to gain access to the grounds.
