Le projet vise notamment à regrouper dans un nouveau bâtiment des infrastructures de recherche de pointe liées aux laboratoires ALLS et LULMAN/QUALITY , spécialisés notamment dans les lasers ultrarapides, la photonique et les technologies quantiques.
