Description
100%Depuis sa mise en service il y a un peu plus de 20 ans, le puits existant « P-5 » a fait l'objet de travaux visant à le nettoyer et à le réhabiliter sur une base régulière, et ce, en raison de la présence d'agents de colmatage organiques et inorganiques associés aux concentrations naturelles de fer et de manganèse dans l'eau souterraine.

Pour minimiser les risques d'une pénurie d'eau potable et de défaillance du système de traitement en place, la municipalité de Chambord souhaite remplacer le puits de captage P-5 par un nouvel ouvrage construit avec des matériaux moins réactifs face à l'action dégradante de l'eau souterraine, laquelle est naturellement agressive. Afin de minimiser les coûts de raccordement, le nouveau puits dénommé « P-5B » serait implanté près du bâtiment existant qui abrite l'ouvrage P-5 ainsi que les équipements de pompage d'eau souterraine.
