Description
100%Le mandat demandé par le Cégep consiste à la fourniture de services construction pour des travaux d’agrandissement des départements de Technique de génie mécanique (TGM) et de Technique de génie civil (TGC) et du réaménagement des anciens locaux de TGM. Le département de génie mécanique existe au Cégep depuis les années 1970 alors que le Cégep accueillera sa première cohorte d’étudiants en génie civil, à l’automne 2024.

En raison de la faible hauteur des plafonds et des machines-outils de plus en plus grosses, le Cégep doit agrandir et relocaliser le département de TGM dans des locaux ayant une hauteur de plafond d’au moins 14 pieds. Puisque le département de TGC est un nouveau département, des locaux devront être construits pour accueillir ce département. Les anciens locaux utilisés par le département de TGM seront convertis en classes et bureaux communs pour les deux départements, TGM et TGC. Les travaux d’agrandissement seront divisés en deux secteurs séparés, dans l’aile G du Cégep, soit un secteur du côté du chemin Larocque pour le département de TGM et un autre secteur du côté avant, rue Champlain, pour le département de TGC. Les locaux situés entre les deux départements devront être réaménagés en classes et en bureaux.
