Les nouveaux points de raccordement serviront à alimenter directement des bâtiments en cas de bris de conduites souterraines mais, ils pourraient aussi servir à alimenter les réseaux souterrains advenant un problème majeur à la Centrale thermique. Toutefois, il faudrait déterminer dans le cadre de ce mandat, quelles sont les capacités de débits maximum que nous pouvons circuler dans nos réseaux et voir si ces réseaux sont de dimensions suffisantes pour les nouveaux débits à venir à moyen terme. Ces points devront accommoder soient un branchement aérien depuis une chambre de vannes existantes ou depuis des chaudières ou refroidisseurs en location. Six (6) entrées de vapeur et d’eau refroidie dans quatre (4) bâtiments doivent être sécurisées. Liste de bâtiments à approvisionner : bâtiment 15- bâtiment 18 x2- bâtiment 22- bâtiment 26 x2.
