Time to submit — where the number comes from
- The calculation
- Days between publication (December 4, 2024) and closing (December 19, 2024), rounded to the day: 16 days.
- What goes in
- The source publishes no duration for this notice: the number comes from its two dates. A gap of less than half a day, or a closing before publication, gives no window.

- The calculation
- Lauréo has no reading of the closing time on the official CanadaBuys page for this notice: the time is to be confirmed on the official notice.

Requirement
National Research Council Canada has a requirement for the supply, and delivery of five heat-pipe furnaces to suit indium, tin, zinc, aluminum, and silver fixed points – the entire 125°C to 1000 °C temperature range, an annealing furnace, and two premium resistance bridges.
Note to Suppliers
An ACAN will be posted on CanadaBuys.gc.ca for a period of 15 days, allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.
Statement of Capabilities
Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the goods, services or construction services described in the ACAN may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this notice on or before the closing date of this notice. The statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the advertised requirements.
Inquiries
To ensure a response before the ACAN closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least five (5) calendar days prior to the ACAN closing date.
