Fabric - for sheets

Requirement:

This requirement is for the establishment of a Regional
Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for CORCAN for the supply of
Fabric for Sheets (Muslin Cloth), Pale Blue and white. Estimated usage
per year is 150,000 metres of the blue and 20,000 meters of the white.

Technical Requirements:

The cloth must meet the technical requirements specified below
and must also meet all the requirements specified at Annex B and C of
the Request For Standing Offer within the minimum and maximum
acceptable range in accordance with the Canadian General
Standard Board Test Methods CAN/CGSB 4.2.

   colour: pale blue and white

   50% cotton / 50% polyester;

   Plain weave
4. 4.
   Unit mass of fabrics must be 130 g/m2;
5. 5.
   Width 140 cm, tolerance ± 3%;
6. 6.
   Selvedge must be tucked-in or taped and finished without pin

holes (clips only). Selvedge must not be fringed and must be
straight and flat;
7. Maximum number of meters per roll: sheeting must be
delivered in rolls not exceeding 100 lbs;
8. Each roll must be packed separately and wrapped on a pallet
for delivery and must not weigh more than 100 lbs;

   Max load per pallet: 1,000 lbs per skid

Period of Standing Offer
The Standing Offer will be valid from the date of issuance of
the Standing Offer for a period of one (1) year with the
possibility to extend for two (2) additional one-year period.

Delivery:

Delivery to be made to CORCAN, Drummondville and Laval, Quebec within 6
weeks from receipt of order.

Pre-award samples and test results:

The bidders must submit a pre-award sample and laboratory test
results with their bid.

Canadian Content Policy:

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. If
2 + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be considered.

Enquiries
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the bid closing date.
