Time to submit — where the number comes from

The calculation
Days between publication (November 30, 2021) and closing (December 21, 2021), rounded to the day: 22 days.
What goes in
The source publishes no duration for this notice: the number comes from its two dates. A gap of less than half a day, or a closing before publication, gives no window.

The calculation
Lauréo has no reading of the closing time on the official CanadaBuys page for this notice: the time is to be confirmed on the official notice.

Vessel Disposal - Barkley Sound

Reissue of Bid Solicitation
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number FW029-210002/A dated 2021-07-29 with a closing of 2021-08-16 at 02:00 PM PDT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Vessels of Concern (VOC) Program requires a contractor to salvage, transport, deconstruct, and dispose of the partially sunken 70' ex-fishing vessel named "Barkley Sound" in Rance Inlet, Bamfield, BC.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority by e-mailing (email on the official notice) no later than 7 calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid. Bidders intending to submit bids should obtain solicitation documents from the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS) at http://BuyAndSell.gc.ca. Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Bidders basing their submissions on solicitation documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.

Suppliers are required to have a Procurement Business Number (PBN) before contract award. Visit https://BuyAndSell.gc.ca/for-businesses/register-as-a-supplier for PBN registration instructions and to learn more about selling to the Government of Canada.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
