Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No
Nature of Requirements:
The objective of this requirement is to detail the requirement
for contracted second line maintenance support within 12 Air
Maintenance Squadron (AMS) Avionics Support Organization (AvSO)
during transition from the CH124 Sea King to the CH148 Cyclone
helicopter fleet for the Department of National Defence. It is
anticipated that this requirement will be ongoing from Contract
Award to 31 March 2018 inclusive with options for two one-year
option.
The intent of the requirement is to augment military personnel
with qualified Contractor personnel, so that the military
personnel will have the time to concentrate on necessary
training for transition to the CH148. This SOW is in response to
the requirement to train a significant number of technicians on
the Sikorsky CH-148 Cyclone (CH148).
In order to continue safe operations on the Sikorsky CH-124 Sea
King (CH124) while training personnel on the CH148 in
anticipation of its acceptance, it has been determined that
Contractor support to second line AvSO services is required.
