Bidders will be expected to propose a privatized business model whereby the online programs will be cost-effective within five (5) years of the first offering. Programs can consist of a combination of graduate certificates (15 credits), diplomas (30 credits), and master degrees (45 credits) with the first cohort expected to begin studies no later than by September 5, 2017. The goal is to have at least ten (10) online graduate programs available to students by September 2021. The Supplier must have a proven track-record of working with top-tier institutions of higher education to produce high quality customized eLearning courses grounded in evidence-based instructional design, have exemplary customer service, and are continuously evaluating and improving on the end-user’s learning experience. Demonstration of revenue growth and financial return for McGill University is important. 1 CONTRACT DESCRIPTION The Supplier who will partner with McGill University on this initiative will work with an existing team composed of instructional designers, curriculum specialists, media producers, project managers, and faculty members to develop new and repurpose existing course content. McGill University will consult with the Supplier’s learning specialists to design the curriculum (course outline, objectives, assessment strategy, lesson plans, and instructional strategy) and provide the necessary course content to be developed (scripts, cases, assessments, storyboards, certain media elements, etc.). All courses and student information will be hosted on McGill University’s existing IT infrastructure, particularly on its learning management system. Additional systems (such as CRM) that McGill University does not currently run, will be provided by the Supplier.
